Sony has announced it is selling off the Vaio laptop brand and it will stop producing any further Vaio laptops. Instead Sony will focus on producing tablets and convertible tablet-laptop models. They will continue providing after sales service and support for Vaio laptops during applicable guarantee and statutory warranty periods. It will also try to provide out of warranty support to the best of their abilities
